Curried Apple Soup


  • 1 (9 oz.) jar Dickinson's® Country Apple Butter
  • 1/2 (8.75 oz.) jar Dickinson's® Sweet 'n' Hot Pepper & Onion Relish
  • 4 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups herbed croutons


  1. WHISK all ingredients together one by one, except sour cream, in large sauce pan over medium heat. Heat thoroughly about 15 to 20 minutes. (If smoother texture is desired, puree in blender and return to pot.)
  2. WHISK in sour cream and heat through. Do not boil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Garnish each serving with croutons.

Yield: 4 servings
