Barbecue Pork Sandwiches

1 jar DICKINSON’S® Pure Patterson Apricot Preserves
1 lb. Pork, cubed 1 lb. Beef, cubed 1 Tbsp. Garlic Salt 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder 1 c. each Red & Green Bell Peppers, diced small 1/3 c. Cornstarch 1/3 c. Water
Mix pork and beef together in crock pot. Add preserves, garlic salt and chili powder. Cook for 6-8 hours on low heat or until meat is tender. Add peppers during the final 30 minutes of cooking. Shred meat with fork. Finish this dish by mixing 1/3 c. cornstarch with 1/3 c. water. Blend into meat and heat until thick. Serve on split rolls. Makes 8 servings.

NOTE: This meal can be made ahead and frozen. The combination of the beef and pork with the sweetness of the apricot preserves creates a very unique sandwich.
